Ten Oldham schools visited Oldham Sixth Form College to take part in the REAL game. The connexions led event was in its 2nd year and aimed to give year 9 students a realistic view about their future plans. Through a number of activities and games the students learnt about planning their finances and the importance of working hard to fulfil their potential.

The days took place on Thursday 9th July, and Friday 10th with over 100 students benefitting from the chance to partake in the programme.

Connexions advisors and Oldham Sixth Form Mentors were on hand to offer advice, and a DVD with inspirational speakers was also shown.
