The Connexions led event, The REAL Game, took place for the third consecutive year at Oldham Sixth Form College on 12th and 13th July 2010. The event for Year 9 pupils is designed to help them with their future plans.

Ten Oldham Schools attended the day and took part in a half day session, focusing on activities to improve decision making skills. They also explored planning for the future and developed their understanding of the importance of managing finances.

The day also included an Inter-Schools Quiz and the opportunity for pupils to request information about their ideal future careers. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day's activities and the opportunity to integrate with pupils from other schools across the borough.
