On the 22nd January the Junior University ran the "The Missing Mentor" competition, we asked what was the name of Oldham Athletic's football ground. The correct answer is Boundary Park.

Out of 145 entrants David Linsley of Hulme Grammar School was our lucky winner. Oldham Athletic's Craig Rocastle and Junior University mentor Liz Hurst presented David with the prize on Monday 12th February at Oldham Athletic's ground (pictured right).
David said "I entered the competition at the information morning held at Oldham Sixth Form College and thought nothing more of it until I was contacted by Liz telling me I’d won the competition."

David added "I’ve applied to Oldham Sixth Form College and I’m hoping to study IT, Biology and French."

The JU team would like to thank Oldham Athletic for all their support and their kind donation of two match day tickets.

The next competition will begin on 19th February, the prize will be two tickets to see the Artic Monkeys at Lancashire County Cricket Club on July 28th, 2007. This fantastic prize has been kindly donated by The Oldham Evening Chronicle.
