Welcome to the new mentors
Introducing the new Junior University (JU) Mentors for 2006.
Meet the Mentors

Elizabeth, Neill, Jane,
Bass, Rebecca,
Abdul

The newest member of the team is Abdul who was previously a Junior University Resource Technician. Abdul joined the team in September 2006. Abdul's previous studies include a Politics degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. Keep an eye out for Abdul at Grange School, Royton & Crompton School and Hathershaw School.

Jane joined the team after completing a degree in Design Studies at the University of Salford. As a JU Mentor her main aim is to help students fulfil their potential by providing support and guidance throughout GCSE and into Further Education. You will see Jane at Our Lady’s School, Radclyffe School and Breezehill School look out for appointment times.

Rebecca studied for her A Levels at Crompton House Sixth Form, whilst there she studied Psychology, Sociology, Geography and General Studies. After completing her A Levels she went on to pursue a Psychology and Sociology Degree at the University of Sheffield. Rebecca currently mentors at Counthill School, North Chadderton School and Crompton House School where she will be able to advise you on homework and college life.

Neill is a former Oldham 6th Form Student, whilst at college he studied P.E., Maths, Biology and General Studies. After college Neill went to Loughborough University where he completed a BSc Joint Honours in Sports Science and Maths. Neill currently visits Failsworth School, why not book an appointment with him now.

The other members of the team are Bass and Elizabeth. Bass has been with the team for three yeas now and currently carries out his mentoring at Kaskenmoor School and St Augustine’s School. Elizabeth has been a mentor for just over a year and currently visits Bluecoat School, Grange School, South Chadderton School and Saddleworth School, keep your eyes peeled for them at your school.
