Context:
UNIT 2 : Education – Gender and achievement
Aims:
- Examine Internal reasons for girls improvement
- Examine reasons for boys underachievement
- Evaluate the link between gender and other social factors
Learning outcomes (objectives of session) :
- List and recap key ideas on girls achievement
- Compare and contrast reasons on why some boys are underachieving
- Evaluate other reasons for boys underachievement (class etc)

- Developmental and Mastery
How ILT will be used during the session to enhance learning :
- ILT will be used in this session in the form of PowerPoint and interactive activities on the intranet. This will enable students to develop their ILT skills.
