UNIT 2 : Education – Gender and achievement
Aims:
- To examine recent trends in gender and achievement
- Evaluate explanations of gender and achievement
Learning outcomes (objectives of session) :
- Be able to compare and contrast explanations as to why girls have improved
- Identify key trends in girls and achievement
- Able to describe external factors for why girls have improved

How ILT will be used during the session to enhance learning :
- ILT will be used in this session in the form of PowerPoint and interactive activities. This will enable individual students to develop their ILT skills
